Wolfville Tritons Swim Club 50th Anniversary

On October 29th the Wolfville Tritons Swim Club along with past and present Swimmers, coaches, families and the Club’s executive will gather to celebrate 50 years. The Club is a labor of love for not only the swimmers but their families, who played a pivotal role in the thriving organization that the Tritons Swim Club is today!

Noon on Saturday October 29th prior to former Triton and long time Acadia Coach the late Jack Scholz’s Invitational CIS Meet, Tritons Alumni from accross four decades will compete in a relay to mark the Club’s 50 Annivarsary. That evening the Triton’s family will gather at the Taproom of the Horton Ridge Malt and Grain Company to celebrate and connect with former and current swimmers, coaches, administrators and families from the last 50 years!

The Wolfville Tritons Swim Club from its inaugural year in 1972 has had a close impactful relationship with the Acadia University Swim team. Many coaches have come from the program to give back to the younger swimmers. Over the years Triton swimmers have gone on to be significant members of university varsity swim teams, many choosing to attend Acadia University and have been a part of the strong Acadia Swim Team legacy. It has been a successful Model!
