As of February 26th, 2024 the sidewalk & accessible parking spots for the Visitor Information Centre (VIS), and the first four parking stalls south of the accessible VIC parking spots on Willow Ave will be closed to the public until further notice to facilitate safe demolition of the VIC. These closures will remain in effect until the new Welcome Centre is substantially complete at the end of July 2024.
Additionally, four parking stalls south of the closed parking stalls will be blocked on Wednesday, February 28th to facilitate delivery of a job site trailer on Friday morning. Any vehicles left in these spots by Friday morning will be towed at the owner’s expense. (see related documents for map outlining the area described above).
