East End Gateway

The Town of Wolfville began consultation on a master plan exercise for the East End Gateway in January 2018.  The East End Gateway encompasses Willow Park trail connections, and the leased Nova Scotia Power land on the opposite side of Main Street. The master plan aims to create a sense of arrival and place, create a welcoming space for people entering the town via Main Street, improvements trail connections throughout the area, and creation of a public open space that reflects the unique landscape of Wolfville and surroundings.

Two public workshops were held in January and February to receive input on the design and priorities for the site.  The draft East End Gateway Masterplan was presented to Council on April 3, 2018 by Ekistics.  Prior to bringing a staff report to Council to approve the Masterplan; we are seeking final input on the design.  Please take the time to review the document and provide comments by email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
