Acadia Farm Series: Seed Saving
The Town of Wolfville and the Acadia Community Farm is hosting a series of introductory events at the Acadia Community Farm!
Learn how to save your seeds for next season (Rain Date October 8th). Ages 16+. There is no cost to participate. Space is limited. Please let us know if you are unable to attend. Events are weather permitting.
Accessibility note: the Acadia Farm workshops all take place outside on a grassy field. Please consider this when deciding if this event if right for you. The path from the meeting place (Wolfville Farmer’s Market parking lot) to the Acadia Farm is accessible.
There are picnic tables available at the Acadia Farm as well as space for participants to step away if they need time alone.
Free accessible parking is available in front of the Acadia Festival Theatre, or paid accessible parking at the Acadia Athletics Complex.
Gender neutral washrooms can be found in the Acadia Athletics Complex on the lower level, past the women's hockey change room, the lower level, past the football office.
This is a free event, there are no costs to participate (with the exception of the canning workshop). Any supplies needed will be provided.
This is low sensory-input event, however we invite you to bring ear coverings or headphones (as well as any other fidget toy or stimming device) that would make you most comfortable.
