Under the Town of Wolfville's Grants to Organizations Policy (Policy No. 710-003) applications will now be accepted from eligable organizations seeking fucnding for one-time capital projects until Tuesday, November 1st, 2016.
Supporting volunteer, community-based organizations is often fundamental to maintaining our quality of life. The one-time special funding (capital) requests provision within the Grants to Organizations Policy is intended to provide organizations with an avenue to periodically request additional funds in support of capital campaigns and projects. Operating expenses and special events or initiatives will not be considered as eligible expenses. Only one application per organization requesting a minimum of $5000 in funding may be submitted per year and only one application per organization may be approved every eight years.
Interested applicants are asked to contact Chrystal Fuller, Director of Community Development, to discuss their organization's eligability either by phone (902-542-8842) or email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
Deadline for applications is Tuesday, November 1st, 2016.
Crews will be working on the intersection of Gaspereau and Main Streets, Sunday, October 23, 2016.
Work will commence at 9:00 pm Sunday evening and continue until 8:00 am Monday, October 24th.
A detour will be setup directing traffic between Highland Avenue and Willow Avenue.
The closure is necessary to complete the reconstruction at the Gaspereau and Main Street Intersection.
