Acadia Pride Run

Our 3rd Annual Pride Run/Walk event is happening!

We have been so incredibly fortunate for the engagement from our valley community with our last two years of running and growing with this event.

We have seen our participation and representation jump substantially within the past year, having more than 150 people come by! That's almost triple from the year previous.

In addition, with the support from our sponsors, we were able to provide those who stopped by with an opportunity to not only celebrate pride, but further educate themselves (& others!) in the Valley on ways to support our 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

We will continue to stride towards more representation, education and acceptance to further our collective efforts in creating a safer province for everyone. 

Day of Event

Starting from Willow Park in Wolfville, folks looking to get on the move can participate in our 5km Run course through the Dyke Roads and Harvest Moon trail system. If running isn't your pace, this year we will have a shorter alternate walking route through the town of Wolfville as well as lawn games at the event space!

Participating in the walk will also allow folks the chance to win some of our stunning prizes, with the 'Loudest & Proudest' being rewarded!

If you decide to hang back at Willow Park, the space will have lawn games (provided by the Town of Wolfville Recreation team), music, snacks, and the refreshing splash pad which is easily accessible from the park.
