Alex Colville Wolfville Gallery Official Opening
On Sunday, November 19, at 2pm, the Town of Wolfville invites everyone to celebrate the official opening of the Alex Colville Wolfville Gallery in the Post Office Park, on Main Street.
This new installation is the result of work by the Art in Public Spaces Committee, with support and annual funding from Town Council.
This new outdoor showcase is intended to reach a whole new generation, exposing, and celebrating the amazing collection of work that Colville created, ten years after his death.
The Alex Colville Wolfville Gallery features nine reproductions of iconic paintings, a photo of Colville, mounted in a door frame, and an interpretive panel.
The event starts at 2pm at the Post Office location to view the installation and then everyone is welcome at the Harvest Gallery, at 462 Main Street, for a casual reception.
