Canada’s National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence against Women
December 6th is Canada’s National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence against Women. Please join us for a ceremony on December 5th to commemorate the lives of the 14 women killed on December 6, 1989, at the École Polytechnique in Montreal and to reflect on the broader crisis of gender-based violence. The ceremony will take place from 4-5:30pm at the Wolfville Legion, 310 Main Street. Doors will open at 3:30pm.
All are welcome. Kid’s activities will be available. The venue is accessible.
