Come on Down

Come On Down is Wolfville’s community open mic - welcoming anyone and everyone to share their voice. 

Whether you’re reading a poem for the first time, strumming a new song, telling a story, or making it up as you go, Come On Down is a space to express yourself in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Hosted by local poet J.G. Lutes, the event is all about participation, connection, and creativity.

Audience members can expect an evening of variety - some heartfelt, some hilarious, all authentic. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, settle into Willow Park, and enjoy two hours of live, unscripted performances. The vibe is casual, open, and family-friendly. You never know what you’ll hear next - but you’ll leave inspired.
