Cram the Cruiser

Kings District RCMP and the Kings County Seniors’ Safety Society will once again “Cram the Cruiser” at an event that will assist vulnerable Kings County community members this winter. This event was overwhelmingly successful in 2020 in Berwick and Wolfville.

This year the date and locations for warm clothing drop- off will be December 7th, 2022 at the Wolfville Fire Department, 355 Main St. in Wolfville and Wilson’s Home Store, 205 Commercial St. in Berwick. Organizers will accept donations from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are encouraging donations of gently worn coats, jackets, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves and boots.

Community members can simply drop off their donations at the addresses where Kings District RCMP, Kings County Seniors’ Safety Society members and volunteers will assist in stuffing police cars and trailers full of these winter items.

All donations will be transported to Open Arms.

This event is not organized by the Town of Wolfville.
