Flag raising for PRIDE
In Canada, June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate and commemorate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Pride Month is a period dedicated to recognizing the contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ people, advocating for equal rights, and fostering a world where everyone can embrace their true selves. It's also a time to acknowledge the historical significance of Pride celebrations, which emerged from early protests for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights.
To signal our support, welcome and care, we will be raising the PRIDE flag on Tuesday, June 3 at 8am at Waterfront Park.
