Nuisance Party Bylaw Open House

The Nuisance Party Bylaw has been in place for a few years. Numerous tickets have been issued for both individual and landlord infractions.

In the section that relates to landlords, staff have identified a need to improve clarity.

Feedback from landlords over the past few years suggests that automatic charges for subsequent Nuisance Party Bylaw offenses are not considered fair when landlords have worked with tenants to take steps to prevent Nuisance Parties.

Council is considering these amendments. Your input is a valuable part of this process. Please review the documents in the project area at Wolfville Blooms, complete our brief survey and consider providing comments directly to staff at a community open house at Town Hall.

Your feedback will be shared with Council prior to second reading of the bylaw.
