A winter storm is set to deliver a significant amount of snow over the next 24 hours. Plows will be out overnight, which means cars left on the street should expect to be be ticketed or towed. Winter parking regulations can be found by clicking here. If you must be out an about, please use caution.

Soup and Sides on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Join us for a special Soups and Sides on the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation featuring Three Sisters Soup and we welcome Sandy-Lynn Fisher, who will be making lusknikn (sounds like loose-skin-agin) for us to enjoy with our meal.

Our activity will encourage everyone to reflect on the importance of reconciliation and the Calls to Action.

Because this is a special evening, our serving time will be extended so please drop by the Market between 5 and 7:30pm.

About Soups and Sides:

Soups and Sides at the Wolfville Farmers' Market on Monday evenings, serving-up soup, with a side of community-building activities.

Guests are welcome to make a voluntary donation to support the sustainability of the program, but this is not a requirement. Everyone is welcome.

The program was initially developed by Acadia students and is supported by the Town, Acadia University and the Wolfville Farmers’ Market to help people build relationships while enjoying equitable access to delicious food, prepared by our community chef, Ayzhia Beaton.
