From their website, the Dusty Halos are described as a "folk duo based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. With celestial harmonies, intricate fingerstyle guitar, and haunting fiddle lines, Rebecca and Katharine combine the textures of old time acoustic music with original songwriting. Weaving themes of heartbreak and longing into tuneful tapestries, The Dusty Halos explore the interplay of light and darkness, finding solace in the shadows."
