Wolfville School

Wolfville School welcomes students from Primary to grade eight to the historic Town of Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Located in the centre of town, within walking distance of both residential and shopping areas, Wolfville School is home to an Elementary (primary-grade 5) and a Middle Level (grades 6-8). Students graduating from grade 8 go to Horton High School in nearby Greenwich, NS.’  The school ‘strives to create a welcoming environment that reflects the nature and culture of our region in which all learners are provided the opportunity to reach their individual intellectual, social, physical, emotional, creative and aesthetic potential. wolfville.ednet.ns.ca

Acadia University, described by MacLean's Magazine as one of the best liberal arts universities in Canada, is known as a leader in education. It has a student population of close to 4,000 and representation from some 60 different countries.

Horton High School

Horton High School is a secondary public school serving grades 9 through 12 and is located in Greenwich just outside Wolfville. This state-of-the-art school was constructed in 1998.

Landmark East

Landmark East School is Canada's only day and boarding school for students with learning differences in Grades 3-12. The classes are small, allowing our dedicated teachers to create individualized programs to support the learning needs of each student. This helps students find their voice and leverage their strengths for success.

L’ARCHE Homefires

L'ARCHE is an international federation with more than 146 communities around the world.  In Canada, there are 30 L'ARCHE communities in 8 provinces.  Wolfville's L'ARCHE Homefires was one of the first L'ARCHE communities to be established in Nova Scotia in 1981 that seeks to allow individuals with special needs to reach their full potential and, in so doing, to enrich the communities in which they live and work’.  ‘Across Canada and around the world, L’ARCHE creates communities of friendship and belonging’. ‘In L’ARCHE, people with and without intellectual disabilities live, work, learn, and grow together. Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC)

A short drive/bus ride from Wolfville, NSCC’s Kingstec Campus is located in Kentville. Extensive renovations to the library, learning commons, and trades shops have created a bright, modern learning environment. Upon entering the campus, students are greeted by a light-filled atrium, not to mention notoriously friendly staff. Many take advantage of the full-service cafeteria, fine-dining restaurant, onsite gymnasium, and daycare.
