Administrative Assistant

The Town of Wolfville is inviting applications for a part-time Administrative Assistant to work in the Finance and Corporate Services department.  Under the supervision of the Manager of Finance and Corporate Services, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance and Corporate Services department by performing a variety of clerical, financial, and general office duties. 

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who can work well in a small office environment.   They will be a result oriented, hands-on individual who works to support the team looking for efficiencies with a high attention to detail. Excellence in customer service, a strong competency in administrative duties, and time management are required attributes for this role. Applicants should be comfortable working with others and be self-motivated when working alone.

A minimum of three (3) years’ related work experience is an asset and post-secondary education in accounting or business administration is preferred.

This position will be on site at Town Hall in an office environment interacting with other staff, members of the public, and Town Council.
