Bollards are being installed along Main Street in Wolfville to improve safety for cyclists as part of our active transportation network expansion. Bollards are used in communities across the country as a way to increase safety for the most vulnerable people on our roads.
The green, flexible posts help both motorists and cyclists share the road by defining designated lanes.
The bollards are seasonal and will be removed before snowplows are clearing snow and ice.
