After months of study, community engagement and a pilot in Reservoir Park, Wolfville's Council has supported a time of day, seasonal approach to the off leash privilege in Wolfville's most popular park.
In accordance with Section 4 of Wolfville's Dog Control By-law, between October 1 and May 31, dogs must remain on leash from 10am to 4pm.
Between June 1 and September 30, dogs much remain on leash from 10am to 4pm.
These new off leash hours are intended to provide safe and enjoyable use of the park for all people.
Signs posted in Reservoir Park communicate these new changes.
