Both ponds at Reservoir Park have re-opened to people and pets after test results have shown a reduction in levels of microcystins, which are linked to blue-green algae.
Two consecutive tests have now indicated levels are "non-detect," so the closure that started on August 19 has ended.
People and pets should use the ponds at their own risk as our seasonal testing program wraps-up in the weeks ahead.
