2026 Water Distribution Flushing Program
SCHEDULE UPDATE
The Town of Wolfville Public Works Department would like to advise residents that tomorrow’s planned water main flushing will now be Day 6 of the daily schedule, as the work crew has been progressing ahead of schedule. On Thursday, June 12th, the schedule will focus on water main flushing in the core area of Wolfville.
To help maintain high-quality water throughout the distribution system, the Wolfville Water Utility will conduct its annual Water Distribution Flushing Program from June 8 to June 19, 2026.
The annual flushing schedule, including the streets scheduled for flushing each day, will be available on the Town’s website and social media channels. The program will begin on Day 1: June 8, 2026.
Residents are encouraged to review the “Related Document” to determine when flushing will occur in their area.
Please note that the flushing schedule will proceed as planned unless interrupted by unforeseen circumstances such as watermain breaks or other operational emergencies. Residents are encouraged to check the Town’s website and social media channels regularly for schedule updates and notices.
During flushing activities, residents may experience temporary water discolouration and periods of low water pressure. To minimize inconvenience, residents are advised to limit water use during scheduled flushing times.
