The section between Eden Row (Greenwich) and Cherry Lane (Wolfville) will be closed on Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8, to carry out infrastructure repairs related to a washout. There will be heavy machinery on-site, so the trail will be impassable for users during those two days.
A detour has been included in the public notice—users can exit at Eden Row, follow the sidewalk along Hwy 1 into Wolfville, and rejoin the trail at Cherry Lane.
Also worth noting, maintenance is scheduled from Grand Pré to Cambridge for July 7–11 (MOK sections). A contractor will be on-site during that time, completing flail mowing and surface maintenance, so crews and equipment will be active along that stretch as well. This will have some Grand Pre sections looking nice for the upcoming Acadian Days.
