Councillor Oonagh Proudfoot has resigned from Wolfville Town Council. The Councillor presented her letter of resignation to the Town Clerk following the regular meeting of Council on September 27.

The Town thanks Proudfoot for her 6 years of service and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.

Because the resignation falls more than 6 months away from the next regular election, the Town will be holding a Special Election to fill this vacancy in the coming months. The Office of the CAO will provide more details once they are finalized.

A special meeting of Council has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, following Committee of the Whole.
