Wolfville sign in Waterfront Park has started to be installed.

Installation has started on a WOLFVILLE sign at Waterfront Park.

This is one of several upcoming placemaking initiatives led by The Wolfville Business Development Corporation.

The sign has been thoughtfully designed and installed by local artist, Al Simms, of Avon River Metalworks, to serve as a gathering place, a photo op, and an invitation to explore Waterfront Park.

It both reflects and highlights the colours of the Bay of Fundy, all while still maintaining the views of Blomidon and the natural beauty of the park and viewpoints.

While installation is underway, please treat this site as you would a construction zone.

Town Council is seeking support with the recruitment process to ensure that a suitable Chief Administrative Officer is found to lead the Town’s administration and support Council in the implementation of their strategic goals.

The Town will collect trees from January 3-20, 2024, and residents are welcome to set trees at the curb by Monday, January 1, 2024 at the earliest.

Please be advised that trees placed at the curb after January 20, 2024, will not be collected by the Town.

After January 20, trees are accepted free of charge at the Valley Waste Resources Transfer Station located at 90 Donald E Hiltz Connector Rd., Kentville during the month of January.
