2025-26 Front Street Parking Lot Snow and Ice Removal. The Town of Wolfville invites quotations for the clearing of snow and ice from the parking lot located at the east end of Front Street from November 2025 to April 2026.

Trail Closure Notice: Harvest Moon Trail

Please be advised that on Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10, the Harvest Moon Trail will be closed between the Farmer's Market and Elm Avenue. This temporary closure is necessary while crews carry out work along the tree line in that area.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we continue to make improvements to the trail.

There will be a detour affecting Main Street on Sunday, October 12, from 7:15 AM to 10:00 AM.

Vehicles heading west bound will be detoured at Gaspereau Avenue to Pleasant Street, then onto Skyway Drive, and Stirling Avenue, before returning to Main Street. Vehicles heading eastbound from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. will be detoured at Wickwire Ave to Grandview Dr to Skyway Dr to Pleasant St and then Gaspereau Ave before returning to Main Street.

Please expect delays on Sunday morning during this time. Thank you for your patience.

On Sunday, October 12, the following road closures will be in place:

Front Street from Harbourside Drive to Elm Avenue
8:00 AM to 9 AM

There is limited parking available at Acadia University, as well as on-street parking and designated parking lots throughout Wolfville. We kindly ask that participants do not park in any church parking lots. 

With the Canada Post strike continuing, the Town is making efforts to connect folks with their water utility bills. Bills are now available at Town Hall and are due on or before November 21. 

If you are able to drop-by and collect you bill, Town Hall, 359 Main Street, is open weekdays from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Payment Options

• Online through your bank.  When paying online please allow at least 4 business days for your payment to reach us.
• Drop-Off Slot – A secure drop-off slot is located to the right of the Town Hall front door (no cash please).
• Pre-Authorized Payment – You need to complete a form and provide us with a VOID cheque (or the form that can be printed off your bank’s website) to have the full amount of your Property tax bill or your water/sewer bill automatically deducted from your bank account by us, on the due date of the bills.  For Property Taxes we also offer a monthly payment plan which starts in October to build up enough of a credit to pay the two tax bills in the following year.
• In Town Hall – by cash, cheque or Interac Debit.
