The Town of Wolfville and the Wolfville Farmers’ Market are seeking the services of a food service professional/Soup wizard to help with the re-launch of the Soups and Sides project.
Soups and Sides is a weekly drop-in that welcomes community members to the Wolfville Farmers’ Market for soup and activities on Monday evenings. Guests are welcome to make a voluntary donation to support the sustainability of the program, but this is not a requirement.
The program was developed by Acadia students and is supported by the Town, Acadia University and the Wolfville Farmers’ Market to help people build relationships while enjoying equitable access to delicious food.

Wolfville, Nova Scotia, June 28, 2024 — Wolfville will gain more than 10 km of multi-use pathways after a combined investment of more than $3.3 million from the federal and provincial governments and the town of Wolfville.
This was announced today by MP Kody Blois, Minister John Lohr, and Mayor Wendy Donovan.
This new infrastructure will give Wolfville residents more ways to get around the community, decrease greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce traffic congestion in the town.

Start July 2, 2024, and continuing until September 2, 2024. Bridge Rehabilitation on the Highland Avenue Overpass will begin, temporary traffic lights will be setup as traffic control, the signals will be in place all day, and scaffolding will be setup on the active side with crews being on site between 7 am to 8 pm.
Temporary speed reductions signs will be in affect, traffic will be down to one lane and delays are to be expected.
The work will include blasting and coating of the steel structure, as well as concrete repairs.
Use extreme caution when travelling through this work site as vehicles and pedestrians will be accessing community mailboxes in that area.
Do you love mud? Do you have three friends who can join you and compete like champs? Will you give it your all to raise funds to help remove barriers for kids who want to access recreational programming?
The Mud Challenge puts teams of four through a series of muddy trials with one team winning the trophy and some well earned respect.
Registration is now open for Wolfville's Mud Challenge, returning to Willow Park on Saturday, July 27 at 2pm. There is a $100 entry fee for each team and all proceeds go to the Mudley Fund.
Kids are welcome to try out the mud zone from 1:30 - 2:00pm.
