Wolfville's Yard Waste Drop-Off Site returns to Maple Avenue on June 5.

Wolfville residents can drop leaf and yard waste from their property in the bins at our collection site at 84 Maple Ave starting on Thursday, June 5.

Hours of operation are:

• Thursday 9am - 4pm
• Friday 9am - 4pm
• Saturday 9am - 2pm

Residents will need to deposit the organic matter (leaf and yard waste) in the bins as staff are not available to assist with this task.

This service is being offered to Wolfville residents and is only intended for residential use.

Beginning at 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 15, 2025, and continuing to approximately 5:00PM crews will be working on a water line repair.

There will be a scheduled water interruption affecting residents on Chestnut Avenue, between Pince Street and Queen Street.

Residents are advised to stockpile the necessary water needed for this period before to 12:00noon, Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Once service is re-established you may experience some discoloured water. If so, you can flush your system by running the cold water for several minutes. This will help eliminate any dirt and air that may have gotten into the lines during the upgrade. It’s best to flush through a tap without a strainer such as a bathtub tap or outside hose bib.
