Registering for recreation programs in Wolfville just got much easier, thanks to the roll-out of the new Amilia online booking platform.

The new platform allows users to create accounts. reserve spots in classes and to pay online for recreational programs. 

The platform is now live and community members can use links from Town events found on wolfville.ca to register or, you can search from Town programs directly through the Amilia platform.

For folks who wish to register or pay for programming in-person, Town Hall staff will continue to provide as much support as needed.

Winter Parking Ban & Parking Enforcement

The Winter Parking Ban takes effect on December 1st  through to March 31st. This happens every year in the Town of Wolfville.

This means that no cars can be parked on the streets of Wolfville, or in public lots, from 12:01am to 6:00am during these months.

If you require overnight parking, on a temporary basis, you can use the parking lot across from Willow Park. Cars parked in the East End Gateway Lot, on a temporary basis, will not be ticketed. 

The parking ban also come into effect one hour after the start of a snow event and runs until two hours after the snow event has stopped. This helps our snow removal crews get the roads salted and plowed.

There are exemptions for physicians, fire and police while carrying out their official duties as well as for operators of commercial vehicles while loading and unloading. 

As per Section 139 of the Motor Vehicle Act, vehicles obstructing snow removal or winter maintenance will be removed at the owner’s expense.

Fairfield Street will be closed to all traffic from the morning of December 11 through to end of day on Friday December 15th as we work to complete this project.

Residents will not have access to their driveways during this time December 11th to December 15th and are asked to park on Hillside Avenue. Vehicles parked overnight on Hillside Avenue will be exempt from overnight parking restrictions during the road closure.

On Monday December 18th and Tuesday December 19th crews will be paving Fairfield and access to driveways maybe impacted. Residents  and are asked to park on Hillside Avenue again Monday and Tuesday. Vehicles parked overnight on Hillside Avenue will be exempt from overnight parking restrictions during the road closure.
