The Cittaslow Sunday event scheduled for today (Sunday, Sept. 18), is postponed until Sunday, September 25 due to the rain.
Cittaslow is an organization founded in Italy and inspired by the slow food movement. Cittaslow's goals include improving the quality of life in towns by slowing down its overall pace, especially in a city's use of spaces and the flow of life and traffic through them.
Main Street, Elm to Harbourside Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday, July 22, from 5pm through 9:30pm for the Mud Creek Days Street Party and Dance.

Fireworks will be part of the Mud Creek celebrations on Saturday night, July 23, in Waterfront Park. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10pm and should last for 10 - 15 minutes.
