Each year Wolfville shows it's Holiday spirit with decour, events, great food, drink and shopping.

A full month of community experiences and events! On Nov. 28th we will kick the month off with the virtual Night of Lights, to celebrate a full month of events to come. 

This holiday season let's focus on connection and supporting our neighbours, friends, volunteers, and businesses. We are in this together!

Saturday, Nov. 28th - Night of Lights Celebrations 

9:00 am - 1:00 pm - Wolfville Farmers' Market 

10:00 am - 12:00 pm - St. John's ACW Christmas Bazaar (Free-Will Offering admission) 

Featuring Plum Puddings, home baking, holiday face masks, fancy work, table centrepiece decorations, white elephant table with grab bags and jams, jellies and preserves.            Note: COVID-19 protocol restrictions will be followed. Masks or face coverings are mandatory inside the building.

11:00 am - 12:00 pm - FREE Snowballs and Sleighbells Outdoor Theatre Performance by The Travelling Trunk Theatre Troupe (Show 1)

6:00 pm - Virtual Tree Lighting and LIGHT The Town! 

Traditionally, the Night of Lights celebration would be held during the evening in Clock Park. This year, however, we will be celebrating and lighting our town collectivity, but separately. At 6:00 pm your Recreation staff will live stream a video of the tree lighting as a Facebook Live stream. But, we encourage you to participate in the lighting by also lighting your yards, homes, windows, front doors, etc. also at 6:00 pm! Let's Light our Town Together!

You are invited to make some noise during Light the Town, similar to times in quarantine, let's grab pots, pans, wooden spoons, drums, guitars and whatever other sound makers we have in our households. Get ready to spread some cheer, Wolfville!

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - FREE Night Stroll Series - Walk 1 - Meet at Wolfville Waterfront Park to walk the Harvest Moon Trail toward Grand Pre!

Join members of the Wolfville Historical Society for a candlelit tour of our bustling town! Starting at the Randall House Museum, you will walk the downtown streets of Wolfville and hear stories of times that once were. Who knows what you might discover about the people and places that have made their mark in this town we know (or think we know!) so well. Santa was so excited to hear about Wolfville Glows, that he decided he would visit our Town every Friday night! On Dec. 4th, community members in the east end of town are likely to spot him! Be ready to see him drive by! He will travel down the following streets:

 9:00 am - 1:00 pm - Wolfville Farmers' Market Get Un-Scrooged

The Wolfville Farmers’ Market hosts its annual Get Un-Scrooged event, where a $5 donation to the Wolfville Food Bank gets you a ballot with a chance to win your wish list from up to 15 participating vendors. Get your ballot from the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present or Future who will be at the entrance of the Market. There are many participating vendors giving you a chance to see the many great locally handmade gifts available at the Market while you make up your own unique wishlist. You could win up to $400 in fantastic Farmers' Market gifts while helping out local families who rely on the Food Bank throughout the year.
