The Town of Wolfville is inviting applications for summer employment with the Parks Department – specifically working in the gardens.
Applicants should be motivated, have a desire to learn, and work well within a team environment. Experience and/or training in horticulture would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Parks Department staff in the day-to-day maintenance of gardens, green spaces, parks and trails and other maintenance and event set-up duties as required.
The position requires 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday. The 2023 work season is for 17 weeks, beginning early May.
