The Town of Wolfville is inviting applications for a full-time (permanent_seasonal) Parks Labourer with the Parks and Recreation Department. This position is part of the Service Employees International Union Local 2 and is eligible to participate in the Town’s Employee Benefits plan.

Reporting to the Parks Lead Hand, the successful candidate must be highly motivated and capable of independent work as well as working within a team environment. 

Responsibilities include carrying out landscaping, general maintenance on all Town maintained green spaces, parks and trail, and other maintenance and event set-up duties as required.

The position requires 40 hours per week and may include evenings and weekends. A valid class 5 driver’s license is required. Work season typically starts in April and finishes in October.
