The Town of Wolfville is inviting applications for (2) summer Parks Labours with the Parks Department – specifically working in the gardens. Applicants should be motivated, have a desire to learn, and work well within a team environment. Experience and/or training in horticulture would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Parks Department staff in the day-to-day maintenance of gardens, green spaces, parks and trails and other maintenance and event set-up duties as required. You must have safety footwear and follow all applicable Provincial and Town Occupational Health & Safety Policies and Procedures. All work takes place outdoors, and you will need to be available to work in all summer weather conditions. Please note: Successful candidates will be required to submit a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Register Check before employment starts.

The position requires 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday. The 2026 work season is for 15 weeks, beginning early May.
