A winter storm is set to deliver a significant amount of snow over the next 24 hours. Plows will be out overnight, which means cars left on the street should expect to be be ticketed or towed. Shelter

If you know of someone who is without housing, Open Arms will be opening additional temporary shelter beds at the EVANGELINE Club in BERWICK at 6pm Friday and will remain open for the duration of the storm. To access a bed, please call 902-679-1202.

Who to call

Town crews are on patrol monitoring roads and all other infrastructure. If you need to report water pooling, localized flooding or downed trees, please call the afterhours emergency line at (902) 698-1752.

The compost site is closed for the day.

Power interruptions

If you are without power, you can get information from Nova Scotia Power by clicking here. Downed power lines should also be reported to Nova Scotia Power.
