Temporary Visitor Information Centre opening soon

The new temporary visitor information centre at Waterfront Park with flags in the background

Wolfville's new temporary Visitor Information Centre is being installed this week in Waterfront Park, providing support to folks spending time in Wolfville and surrounding areas.

The temporary Visitor Information Centre is built from wood, with curves and slopes, making it look like a magical cabin. Staff are working to get everything set-up for opening day on Friday, May 17.

The temporary Visitor Information Centre will still provide tourism supports, directions and suggestions while our new, accessible facility is being built in Willow Park. This Willow Park construction project is making great progress but will not be completed until later in July. As a result, there will be a delayed opening to the Willow Park Splash Pad. The splash pad will open when the new building is open and the site is safe.

The temporary Visitor Information Centre is located in Waterfront Park, on Harbourside Drive. Parking is available on Harbourside Drive and in many other locations. Public washrooms are steps away, on the North side of the RailTown building.
