We're looking for help nominating and celebrating Wolfville's Volunteer of the Year!
Nominations:
If you know of a volunteer who has made a big impact here in Wolfville or if you know of a Wolfville resident who is making an impact in other communities, we would love to hear about them.
Nominations are now open and giving a nod to a special volunteer is as easy as sending a quick email that contains the following:
- The name of your favourite volunteer
- What they do that is so special
- How we can contact them
- Your contact information
Please have your email submitted by April 14 at 5pm.
Celebrations:
National volunteer week is April 27 - May 3. To acknowledge the remarkable contributions of those who give freely of their time and talent, we're hosting a volunteer celebration in Wolfville on Sunday, April 27 at the Wolfville Farmers' Market and everyone is welcome.
The event runs from 2 - 4pm and we'll be sharing stories about amazing volunteers and announcing Wolfville's Volunteer of the Year for 2025. Wolfville's Volunteer of the Year will also be submitted as our nominee for the Provincial Volunteer Award.
