Staff at Acadia have been working to develop a great list of on-campus events for the next two weekends, as a way to encourage safer celebrations at a time when the Town historically experiences an increase in unsanctioned, off-campus events.

For those who wish to organize, host, or attend large off-campus gatherings over the next two weekends, please review the nuisance party by-law to get a sense of what is and is not permitted in our community. Both the RCMP and Town compliance staff can issue a nuisance party order, and fines, under this by-law.

For the first time in the event’s history, Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) will take place in Wolfville/Mtapan from November 7-10, 2024. Now in its 27th year, NSMW and Music Nova Scotia bring together artists, fans, and music industry from across Nova Scotia and around the globe to experience the best talent the province has to offer, in iconic communities across the province.

Crews are responding to a watermain break in the vicinity of 62 Dale St (Dale and Woodland Dr).

Residents at this intersection, and homes up to 24 Bishop Ave will experience water disruptions throughout the day, until the repair is complete.

Vehicular traffic is being asked to avoid Bishop Ave/Dale St from Herbin St to Woodland Dr.

Residents within this area are being asked to use caution when accessing their driveways inside the barricaded work area.

The Town of Wolfville is inviting applications for a Senior Planner for a fulltime term position of three (3) years.

The position will manage development planning and other planning projects as assigned.
