A watermain break has been detected on Kent Avenue. Crews will turn off the water to start the repairs at approximately 11:30am. Residents on 62-85 Ken Ave., 3 Riga Dr., and 114 Skyway Dr. may experience water interruptions until the repair is completed.
Once service is re-established you may experience some discoloured water. If so, you can flush your system by running the cold water for several minutes. This will help eliminate any dirt and air that may have gotten into the lines during the upgrade. It’s best to flush through a tap without a strainer such as a bathtub tap or outside hose bib.
