Main St from Elm Ave to Harbourside Dr will be closed to vehicular traffic from 1100pm Wednesday May 1st into Thursday morning May 2nd.

Public Works Crews will be performing spring maintenance work and line painting.

Motorists are asked to follow the detours in place and use caution when approaching the mentioned intersections.

If possible, we’re asking that residents avoid parking in this area of Main St to allow crews access to multiple locations throughout the night and early morning.

The Town of Wolfville will be accepting proposals fort eh complete resurfacing of three (3) Town-owned tennis courts located in Rotary Park (next to the Recreation Centre) at 7 Victoria Avenue Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

The Town of Wolfville is accepting bids to furnish and deliver (1) new 2024-2025, 2WD 1/2 ton truck.

Tenders to be submitted electronically to Karen @ kouterleys@wolfville.ca clearly marked  WOL008-2024 2024-2025 2WD 1/2 Ton Truck. Submissions must be received by 2:00 p.m., local time Thursday, May 23rd, 2024.

Hillside Ave from Pleasant Ave to Fairfield St will be closed on April 24 at 0800 for sewer and watermain work.

Both north and southbound traffic will be detoured to Highland Ave and pedestrian traffic should use caution in this area due to the active work site and operations of equipment and work vehicles.

Work will start at 0800 and will continue for most of the day. Residents on Hillside Ave from Pleasant St to Fairfield may experience minor water disruptions early afternoon, but no planned shutdown is scheduled at this time.

Speed Bumps and appropriate signage are being reinstalled on Maple Ave today. The three locations for installation will be in the same areas as last year (Civics 97, 55 and 18 Maple Ave).

This year the installation will leave a gap from the end of the bump and the edge of the road, which will allow bicycle traffic to navigate the area with caution, without mounting the speed bumps themselves.

Motorists are once again being asked to adhere to the posted speed limit and approach the bump locations with caution.
