The Towns of Berwick, Kentville and Wolfville (the “Partners”) are seeking proposals from qualified individuals and organizations to assess the human resources (HR) service needs of each organization and develop HR service delivery options, including intermunicipal service options, for further consideration. Specifically, the partners are seeking HR needs assessments for each Town and a report that identifies and describes HR service delivery options that may better serve the partners whether it be individual service provision or intermunicipal opportunities.

Emergency road work will be happening in front of Landmark East School starting on Tuesday, March 18. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane and road users are asked to use caution when driving by the active work site. Traffic control will be in place.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.

The sidewalk closure beginning on March 13, 2025 ongoing until the end of October will affect the sidewalk on the north side of Main Street in front of 292 Main Street between the south-west corner of the property, and the west side of the crosswalk to Willow Avenue.

The portion from here to the driveway east of the construction site shall remain open and protected by a covered way.

The project is located at the Wolfville Wastewater Treatment Plant on Old Dyke Lane at 256 Main Street, in Wolfville, NS (Kings County). The work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to: clearing & grubbing, mass excavation & embankment, site grading, replacement of existing aeration system, berm construction, lagoon liner system, QA/QC, pipework, manholes, blower building, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, testing, start-up, commissioning, erosion & sediment control, dewatering, temporary set-ups, reinstatement, management of safe worksite, and coordination with operations staff.
