Intro to Ballroom Dance, Winter 2026 Program

This beginner-friendly ballroom dance program is perfect for anyone looking to connect, stay active, and learn a new skill this winter, in a welcoming and inclusive setting.

Through professional instruction, support, and guided practice participants will learn the basics of three classic ballroom dances:

• Waltz – smooth and flowing in 3/4 time, a MUST KNOW for weddings, galas, and formals.
• Foxtrot – relaxed and versatile, a favourite when social dancing to jazz or big band music!
• Jive – upbeat, playful, and best enjoyed to swing and rock n' roll music.

No experience necessary. Partners are recommended, but not required.

Dates: Wednesdays, January 28 - March 4, 2026

Time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Location: Wolfville Legion, 310 Main Street, Wolfville (upper level)

Cost:
• $120 for the full 6-week series
• $20 drop-in per class
