This weekend, March 22/23, tends to bring increased activity to the town, with celebrations for the event known previously as Cheaton Cup.

The Town continues to work with both Acadia and the RCMP to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both students and the wider community.

Acadia has scheduled some great events to keep celebrations on campus and the RCMP will be providing additional resources around Wolfville, if unsanctioned events become disruptive.

The Town of Wolfville will be accepting submissions for (1) new 95- Platform Ladder truck. Proposals must be received by 3:00pm, local time, Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "WOL007-2025 Firefighting & Rescue Apparatus, to 359 Main Street Wolfville, NS., B4N 1A1. Attention: Fire Chief, Todd Crowell.

The Towns of Berwick, Kentville and Wolfville (the “Partners”) are seeking proposals from qualified individuals and organizations to assess the human resources (HR) service needs of each organization and develop HR service delivery options, including intermunicipal service options, for further consideration. Specifically, the partners are seeking HR needs assessments for each Town and a report that identifies and describes HR service delivery options that may better serve the partners whether it be individual service provision or intermunicipal opportunities.

Emergency road work will be happening in front of Landmark East School starting on Tuesday, March 18. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane and road users are asked to use caution when driving by the active work site. Traffic control will be in place.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.
