Water Valve Repair work is planned at 16 Dale Street, Thursday, October 19th.

Crews will be onsite at 8am Thursday morning the work to continue for most of the day. 

Please be aware of heavy equipment and crews working in the area.

Community Safety Town Hall Meeting

Directions

Road and watermain work is planned at the intersection of Main St and Elm Ave on Sunday October 15th,  into Monday October 16th.

Work will start at 8pm Sunday and continue into early morning on Monday.

The intersection of Main St and Elm Ave will be closed in all three directions to repair a watermain valve, level out a maintenance hole and adjust a curbside catch basin. This work is required to prepare the area for the upcoming milling and paving. Please Note: This schedule may change due to weather.

EASTBOUND MAIN ST DETOUR: Vehicular traffic will be detoured up Highland Ave to Acadia St then to Gaspereau Ave and back to Main St.

WESTBOUND MAIN ST DETOUR: Vehicular traffic will be detoured up Gaspereau Ave to Prospect St then to Highland Ave and back to Main St.

SOUTBOUND ELM AVE DETOUR: Vehicular traffic will be detoured across Front St to Harbourside Dr. NOTE: Local traffic only will be able to access the residences between Main St and Front St on Elm Ave.

A culvert that runs under Main Street needs to be replaced. To complete this replacement, road work on Main Street (from Civics 126 - 133) will starting November 7, 2023.

As a result of the road work, expect delays along Main Street between Maple and Sherwood through the month of November. Traffic Control personnel will be onsite directing traffic.

Additional details will be shared closer to the project start date.
