Over the past week we have received many messages from community members.  The memories, stories and experiences at the Acadia Pool are ones to be treasured.  We thank you for opening up and sharing them with us.  It has been an honor to read them.

Dr. Hennessey’s team have compiled these FAQ’s that will hopefully answer some of the questions that are being asked.  Thank you, for this information.

Losing the Acadia Pool feels like losing a loved one. 

We know there are issues, things to overcome, over the span of years, however when the time comes to pass, we are still shocked, and we grieve.  These are natural human emotions.  Once these pass, we will focus on how to move on and find new ways to find happiness.

A water main break has been identified on Main Street.

Water will be shut off on Main St between Orchard Avenue and Oak Avenue once the contractor begins to dig. This will impact 10 - 12 properties at that location.

This may take 6 hours to rectify.

This summer, the Town of Wolfville will be offering Summer Environmental Education Earth Leadership Camps. The Town is inviting applications for one (1) positions with the Parks and Recreation Department, to lead unique and exciting environmental education camps for youth. Working with the Environmental Education Camp Coordinator, the successful applicants will be preparing and leading the Earth Leadership focused summer day camps to develop environmental awareness in a fun and engaging way.
