Given this is the 35th - anniversary - year of the 1990 'Oka crisis' we begin the mawio'mi with the film Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance; it is a 1993 feature-length documentary film by Alanis Obomsawin. Everyone is welcome and all the film screenings are free.
