Development Agreement Amendment Proposal - Lot 6 Woodman's Grove

As of June 6th, 2017 Polycorp Properties Inc. is seeking to amend an existing development agreement to allow for the construction of a 48-unit residential building on an existing vancant lot.

A Public Information Meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of Town Hall - 359 Main Street - beginning at 7:30PM on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017.

Development Agreement Proposal - Lot 3 Gaspereau Avenue

As of October 11th, 2016 the owner of  Lot 3 Gaspereau Avenue is seeking a development agreement to allow for the construction of two multi-unit residential buildings, each containing four units, on what will become two lots (currently PID 55274849) with one fronting on Gaspereau Avenue and the other on Willow Avenue.

A Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 beginning at 6:30pm in Council Chambers of Town Hall - 359 Main Street.

Development Agreement Proposal -  708 Main Street

As of May 30th, 2017 the Landmark East Association is seeking a development agreement to allow for the construction of a new 1200 mbuilding to house a gymnasium, dining room, workshop, classroom and associated support facilities for the existing Landmark East School.

A Public Information Meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of Town Hall - 359 Main Street - beginning at 6:30PM on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017.

Development Agreement Proposal - 115 Orchard Avenue

As of May 27th, 2017 JA MacKay Rentals Ltd. is seeking a development agreement to allow for the construction of a 4-unit residential building.

A Public Information Meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of Wolfville Town Hall - 359 Main Street - beginning at 7:00PM on Thursday, September 7th, 2017.

Development Agreement Proposal -  292 Main Street

As of April 13th, 2017 the owner of 292 Main Street is seeking a development agreement to allow for the construction of a multi-storey building containing 78 residential units in the upper storeys and multiple commercial spaces at street level.

Development Agreement Amendment Proposal -  472 Main Street

As of November 22nd, 2017, The Merchant Tavern & Library Pub is seeking a development agreement amendment that would removed the limitations on lounge seating in their establishment.

A Public Information Meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of Wolfville Town Hall - 359 Main Street - exact date and time TBD.

 

Planning Amendment - 185 Main Street

Council is considering amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw to redesignate and rezone 185 Main Street from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Medium Density Residential (MDR) to enable a development agreement for a three-unit dwelling.

The Public Participation Meeting was held in the Council Chambers of Town Hall - 359 Main Street - immediately preceding the September 20th, 2017 meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee.

Planning Amendment - Lounge Seating Capacity

Council is considering an amendment to the Municipal Planning Strategy to increase the number of lounge seats permitted through the development agreement process.

The Public Participation Meeting was held on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 at the Wolfville Farmers' Market from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, with group discussions held at 4:30PM & 6:00PM.
